How to Add New Incident Types In Your Deployment Logs


Sometimes you may need to add or edit an incident type to accurately reflect what happened during each deployment. With Dogteampro, you can easily add and customize incident types in your site settings.
Note: This feature is found in your agency settings, only administrators can make changes.


Adding a New Incident Type

  • Click on your user icon in the top right corner and select Settings.
  • In the left-hand menu, open the Deployment Options dropdown.
  • Select Incident Types and Tags.


  • Click Create in the top right corner of the incident types table.
  • Enter the name of the new incident type.


  • Click Save to apply the changes.

Editing an Existing Incident Type

Need to make adjustments to an existing incident type? Here's how:
  • Hover over the incident type you want to edit and click the Edit icon.


  • Click on "Delete" to remove the item from the list, or update the name of the incident type.


  • Click Save to apply the changes.
