How to Track Corrective Training
For data purposes, there may be times when it is necessary to track “corrective training” - or any training activity when you are working with your dog to improve results.
Tracking corrective training allows you to see how many times within a certain time period you have done additional focus work with your dog for a certain exercise.
On your training log, it is very simple to document this activity:
- Open a new training log
- Enter the “Duration,” “Exercise Type,” etc.
- Click on the three dots option in the top right corner of your training log.
- Complete your training log as normal and hit “Submit.”
There are two ways to view information about corrective training:
Logs Tab
This tab allows you to quickly find the individual logs for which corrective training was performed.
To access this information, just follow these steps:
- Click on the “Logs” tab at the top of the screen
- In the “Training” section, use the filters on the left-hand side to find the “Corrective” box
- Select the “Corrective” box
- The training list will now extract just those logs that contain corrective training exercises.
- You can use the “Export” button to download these logs to a PDF copy for printing or attaching to an email
Reports Tab
The reports section breaks down some more specific information on your corrective training activities.
- Click on the “Reports” tab at the top of the screen
- Click on the “Corrective” filter on the bottom left hand corner of the page
- Under the “Training Logs” section, the “Trainings Overview” breaks down the total corrective exercises and the types of exercises performed:
- “Training Exercises” breaks down the corrective exercises by percentage of time trained:
- “Exercise Results” shows you how the dog performed on the corrective exercises you have worked on:
As with the “Logs” tab, you can click the blue “Export” button to download these reports to a PDF at any time.
