How to Add New Distractor Items to Your K9 Training Logs

Dogteampro makes it easy to add these distractions to your training logs. By setting up new distractor items, you can ensure that your K9 is tested against every possible challenge.

Note: You’ll find this feature in your agency settings, and only administrators can make changes.

Adding New Training Distractor

First, click on your user icon, then select "Settings." In the left navigation menu, click on the "Training Options" dropdown, and then on the "Distractor And Issues" option.

Next, click on the "Create" button in the top right corner of the distractor table, add the name of your new distractor, and click on "Save" to apply the changes.

How To Edit A Training Distractor

Here's the step-by-step process for editing an existing odor or training item in Dogteampro:

Find the item you want to edit in the distractor table and hover your mouse over it.
When the "Edit" option appears, click on it to open the editing screen.
You can follow the same steps as when creating a new distractor, update the distractor name, and after making your changes, click "Save" to apply the changes.
